An analysis of innovation techniques over Disney’s live action adaptations

This study examines Disney's live-action remakes, assessing their success in achieving positioning innovation. While the remakes modernize classics by addressing cultural inaccuracies and emphasizing diversity, they often rely heavily on nostalgia and lack originality. Efforts at inclusivity and corporate social responsibility (CSR) sometimes feel superficial, limiting their impact. The study concludes that while Disney's remakes bring incremental innovation, they fail to deliver transformative changes or redefine audience perceptions, risking market saturation without deeper originality.
